SCOL Champions!
Congratulations to the Reserve, Freshmen and 8th Grade Boys Basketball
Teams who all clinched SCOL titles! The Reserve Basketball Team
won their second strait SCOL title by finishing with an 11-1 league
record. The Freshman Team capped off an undefeated season by going
17-0 overall and 12-0 in the SCOL. The 8th Grade Team went 11-1
in the regular season and also won the league tournament at the
end of the season.

Dante' Jackson, one of Ohio's best
players in the class of 2007, will sign a National Letter
of Intent to attend Xavier in November, 2006. Jackson
has already verbally committed to Xavier University in a ceremony
held on August 10th! The 6'5", 190 pound Guard
standout from McClain averaged 28.5 points, 8.5 rebounds,
and 5 assists this past season! Congratulations

2006 Sectional Champions!
Freshman
Boys Basketball
The McClain Boys Freshman Basketball Team concluded their season
with a 43-37 loss against Hillsboro on February 17th. The game was
played in front of 3,000 people at the sold out Patriot Center on
the campus of Southern State University. The Tigers ended their
2006 campaign with a 15-2 overall record while finishing 10-2 in
the SCOL. The freshmen Tigers were perfect at home going 9-0. They
joined the JV and Varsity Teams who also were undefeated at home.
The young Tigers were led by Dalton Detty who averaged 16 ppg and
Cameron Coleman who averaged 9 ppg. Point guard Jordan Ralph led
the team with 46 assists on the year while averaging only 2 turnovers
per game. Wing player Brian Pitzer led the Tiger defense with 4
charges on the year. Luke Kingsolver, shot 44% from behind the 3
pt. arc to lead the Tigers in that category. Contributing off the
bench for the Tigers were Justin Hughes, Caleb Scharenberg, Ian
Peabody, Jacob Delph, Ethan Cottrill and Casey Jett. Matt Allen
was the Freshman Team Manager and videographer. Congratulations

Tigers battled to a 58-49 win over Zane Trace in the Play by Play
Classic. McClain opened up the first half with a 34-17 lead over
Trace. Zane Trace trailed McClain by a small margin but did not
take the lead. Jackson led the Team with 34 points and 4 rebounds.
Jeremy Webster contributed 10 points and 2 rebounds and Michael
Howard tossed in five points, 4 steals and 6 rebounds to seal the
deal. The Tigers are now 10-0 overall.

Dante Jackson led the Tigers to a 77-62 win over Miami Trace. Jackson
had 29 points in the first half, and finished with a whopping 38
points for the night. McClain led 47-28 at halftime. In the 3rd
quarter the Tigers when on an 11-2 run to end Miami Trace chances
of a comeback win. Greenfield is now 5-0 in the SCOL and 9-0 overall.
